Rules
- If you received a 5 year ban for cheating or scamming you will NOT be able to appeal that ban unless it's invalid.
- Being honest will significantly increase the chance that your appeal is accepted.
- Creating an invalid Administrative Complaint before creating a appeal here will result in your appeal being immediately rejected.
- Do not use lame reasons such as: "My brother / friend played and broke rules."
- You can appeal more than once provided there is a reasonable time gap between each appeal. This reasonable time gap will increase each time you appeal so for example second appeal could be after 7 days and if that is also rejected it goes to 14 days then 28 days then any appeal after that must have a gap of 72 days.
- You must not include a poll in your topic.
- Be patient! If you complain about your appeal not being checked when it was posted less than 48 hours ago it will be denied.
- You will be warned for rule #4 (useless post (wrong format)) for ignoring anything in this topic.
- Not following / leaving things out of the format will result in either deleting or locking your appeal.
- If you double post on your ban appeal it will be denied.
- Editing your ban appeal after it has been put on pending (when staff post in it) will result into an instant lock and deny.
- You cannot appeal bans for IRC channels, only if you're banned from the entire server.
- You can NOT appeal anti cheat bans. These usually have strange text in the ban reason like "AC #1" and they only last a while, these bans exist to make it harder for cheaters. If you're not a cheater then it might be another program that is being detected as a cheat so check what you've recently ran until the ban has expired.
- You must use the correct topic subject (see below)
- If you are not involved in the ban in any way you can NOT post in it.
- Missing parts of the ban appeal, or wrong format will get your appeal locked, and moved, and you risk the chance of being warned for not following the rules.
- When you write your account, write it how it is actually spelled .. case sensitive. Also don't write serials in lower case.
- When appealing for a friend, you are responsible for any wrong information they provide you. This is because alot of people think they can put lies into their appeals and think nothing will happen because a friend appeals for them. That includes appealing for people who are banned for spamming tons of appeals.
- When appealing for a friend, you have to use the Search-Feature to find the links for the old appeals (to answer the question in the format)
How to get your serial
When in MTA press F8 to open the console. Type in: serial then hit enter.
Select the output and do CTRL+C then paste the output into your ban appeal.
Failure to provide your serial will result in appeal deletion and a forum warning.
Topic Subject (You must use this format!)
Banned by Admin Name - Your Name
Example: Banned by [CG]F@R!S - Mady
If you don't know the name of that admin that banned you put Unknown.
2nd Opinion Appeals
If the admin who banned you is denying your appeals and you believe they are being overly harsh and that other admins would be more lenient in this case you can ask for another admin to review your appeal. See below on what you should change your topic to. You can only make a 2nd opinion appeal if your appeal has previously been denied. The admin who originally banned you can NOT deny this appeal or ask the admin dealing with it to deny it.
